3 hours of waiting,Comic Fiesta and Tron Legacy

Dec 20- What a time i had last night. Me and my pal Syakir, who last time we met was like two years ago, decided to rejoin again by going to Comic Fiesta, which was at the Manhattan Ballroom, Berjaya Times Square Hotel. New venue this year, and i should add in all my years lepaking at the streets of Pudu and Bukit Bintang, never did i went there until yesterday.
I reached there at about 11 am, afraid that i could miss out on the tickets. It didn't become a problem as i got the tickets easily. I could have went in first while waiting for Syakir, but that's not nice. I decided then to wait at the outside, because my allergies against dust was still in my system. Allergy became fever, fever became flu, and flu became tough phlegm that stays in my lungs until today.
Waiting was the order of the day, since Syakir had a little problem in arriving. In the three hours i spent for it, i became the "victim" once again in the form of an Indian dude asking for bus and ticket fares to go home. The last time this happened was last year, at the Hang Tuah LRT station. This guy showed up in front of me, wearing factory clothing and asked for RM3 to get back home. I gave in to his request due to the fact he looked like he was in serious shit. Indian dude no 2 on the other hand wore the Langkawi pasar malam shirt and shorts, squinty eyed and holding a handkerchief. His reason that he was sick and he too had no money to go home. I became RM4 poorer yesterday. If this is a scam, i'm not so sure, it could be because Hang Tuah LRT and Times Square is not far away.
Syakir arrived at about 3pm, and the two of were in Level 14 right away. Something about the 14th floor is spooky *cough*Alviss Kong*cough*, but silly jokes aside, Comic Fiesta was a decent affair, most of the cosplayers were great, but i was disappointed that not even one of them had to do anything with Gundam, maybe next year.
Later on,me and Syakir getting a little weak after all that walking and not even a moment for a break, Tron Legacy was up at 6.40pm...it better be at that time or else we would have to pay even more for it. To put it up briefly after watching it, it is a 2 hour Daft Punk music video. Sam Flynn can show off his lightcycle skills all he want, but DP just nailed it with the score. I just can't help it, i love them French robots and thats why i watched TL in the first place.
Finally, we rushed like pre-schoolers to the monorail because it was late and if we're not at KL Sentral before 10, we would have to sleep at the new fountain in Little India. Fortunately time was on our side a little and we managed to get back home. I'll be waiting for Comic Fiesta 2011, with a little hope i would get back my RM4 or else i'll chop his balls off...like a boss.
