"What we've got here...is failure to communicate."

Feb 23- Next time, I wouldn't care if anyone catches me doing anything, i'm gonna take my time and finish it like a boss.

Someone hand me the rice beer.

Feb 17- Been lazy this few weeks and didn't had the time to post anything here. Life has taken a lot of twist and turns so far for the year, i'm beginning to believe there is light at the end of the tunnel and it could lead me to something spectacular.
Valentine's has passed for three days now, and to celebrate the event i listened to OutKast's  The Love Below on loop or repeated so many times i lost count. Where did this guys disappeared to? The current generation of music is truly dead and it's the same  no matter who the artiste. Originality and creativity is long gone getting replaced by mindless puppets listening to their handlers.
And to end this post on a sad note, one of my friends is diagnosed with cancer. It really shatters my heart knowing that person is bright and always crazy. My prayers are for you, go there and fight that monster and win gloriously for everyone.

Never underestimate adolescence.

Feb 5- Insomnia is trying it's very best to make friends with me and it's up there with my old school mates now.
We had a male bonding session yesterday, even though the big names wasn't there to add volume and range to the experience it was fun still. Diviyan's place has got it's mojo actually, somehow things end up without planning, at first it was Diviyan, Rahim and myself. Home cooked meals by our host and films to spend the rest of the evening i thought. Then things went up a notch in Ishak's arrival and Ram joining few hours later. It wasn't the full set up, but i was happy throughout. It might seem that i'm typing under the influence or something, and  if you thought that while reading my ramblings in here then screw you.

Not a happy post.

Feb 2- Once in a while, we would come across a story that touches your heart. This one is by far one of the hardest one take in my view. Ah Long, a six year old boy in China is an orphan and his parents left something for him before they passed on, which is HIV. Just for this reason, he's been treated as an outcast and is forced to fend for himself all alone. He cooks, washes his clothes, raises some livestock and does things pretty much like an adult. The government doesn't gives shit about him, grandmother comes once in a while to deliver goods but doesn't want to keep him at her home, and the schools would not allow a child with HIV to have a proper education. That's for the better i guess because all schools treat children like lab rats.

Ah Long lives alone at his home, as you can see from the picture above not a fancy one. Yet he never complains, and continues to see out the remainder of his life which is sadly would be cut short. This just rips my heart. You could never find a character like this in a 6 year old, when kids these days complain for the smallest of things here's Ah Long playing with a tarnished bike. The only bright side in life is his only companion Lao Hei, which is his pet dog. Another reason why dogs would never judge who you are and what is your background.

I'll end this post by asking you whose reading this....What were you doing when you were 6?

Enter the void, and enter the new title.

Jan 5- This is a very important day, the first highlight of 2011. I became an uncle today, my sister safely given birth to a healthy baby and being a family which is big but not connected, comes the feeling of freshness because our household consists of senior citizens like my father. The old man smell at home needs to be get rid off now, so bring on the nappies and J&J!
In the subject of life, at long last i have watched one of the movies in my target list, Enter The Void. It's from Gaspar Noe, one of the most innovative filmmakers of this era. Everyone knows what an impact he made with Irreversible, and i was stoked to see what he could offer this time around.
EVT is one of those films that could make you appreciate it, or just turned off by it. It splits opinions and gives a hell of a challenge to the viewer. If you only watch films for the sake of entertainment then this is not for you. If you want something groundbreaking and out of the box then by all means watch it. Its about these two siblings, one a drug dealer/junkie and his sister which is a stripper at the gleaming streets of Tokyo. The two have somewhat of an odd relationship, where brother gets jealous if sister is out with other men. Like man that is sick.
Its a simple plot, but what makes EVT stands out is it's glorious cinematography and camerawork. The theme of EVT is death and reincarnation... and it certainly feels like a trip. A devastating mind trip.
I'm still in a hallucinated effect as i'm writing this....and wondering what's next for the master of nausea would offer.

Happy second day of 2011

Jan 2- Yes folks, i am a lazy ass person who couldn't post anything for the new year.
